There are no qualifying conditions for medical marijuana in Virginia. As a result, your certifying physician will determine whether cannabis could benefit your health.

• Cancer – if the illness or its treatment produces one or more of the following: severe or chronic pain, nausea or severe vomiting, cachexia or severe wasting.
• Seizures, including those characteristic of epilepsy

• Multiple Sclerosis with severe and persistent muscle spasms
